So, what’s involved?

First, we will need the most basic information regarding your prospective new driver. If you can give us the name of the driver, and their contact information (phone number and email address), you can leave the rest up to us.

    Here’s what it will look like for your prospective employee:

  1. We will contact the individual to obtain their information, as well as permission to conduct various pre-employment checks such as: MVR, PSP, Clearinghouse Query, a pre-employment drug screen where required.
  2. We will issue a pre-employment job application to your prospective driver in accordance with 49 CFR § 391.51.
  3. If the Clearinghouse Query and pre-employment drug screen are completed and the individual is not prohibited from driving, you can put the driver to work while we complete the Driver Qualification File as mandated by 49 CFR § 391.51.
  4. We will conduct an employment verification on the driver and have your DQ File compiled for you within 30 days of hiring the driver, as is required by federal law.
